June's meeting was a lot of fun! You can read the minutes from the meeting here. At the meeting members revealed their animal challenge projects and it was announced that at July's summer social, there will be a white elephant swap. It is a Make It Modern project that you will create and then swap, white elephant style. The project can be anything from a mini quilt, mug rug, pouch, pillow, bag, etc. The sky's the limit! Details on the summer social will be posted soon!

In June, we also elected officers for 2017-18. The results are as follows:

At the end of the meeting, there was a teaching station round robin! Five tables were set up and members held mini-lessons on various sewing and quilting topics, many of them hands-on! It was a great time to get to know each other and learn a lot of new techniques! I'm sure many members have already started their Christmas lists with new tools and machines!
