February's block of the month is a slightly different take on Cluck Cluck Sew's Scrappy Strips Quilt Tutorial.

We're changing it up a little though. We'll be making 10 1/2 inch blocks (10 inch finished), and to do that, we'll use:

3 strips cut @ 1 1/2 inches,

2 strips cut @ 2 inches and

2 strips cut @ 2 1/2 inches.

We're also making two sets of blocks. One set will be reds, pinks and oranges with white and the other set will be greens and blues. This 2nd set includes the entire range of light to dark greens through aqua and teal to all the blues (light to dark) with white. These will be used for quilts for children, so using some fun kids' prints is encouraged! Also, if you picked up some of the strips available at the January meeting, be sure to include those in the pink/orange/red blocks. Enjoy!
