TMQG May 2022 Destash, Sew and Tell and Celebration Meeting!

We’re finally meeting in person!
Join us on Thursday, May 19th, 2022 for the

Destash, Sew and Tell and Celebration Meeting

Environmental Services Building,
9850 64th St. W. (by Chambers Bay Golf Course)
University Place, WA

Social starts at 6:30 p.m.
General Meeting starts at 7 p.m.

Destash is the guild's only fundraiser this year. You are welcome to donate fabric, books, notions, patterns, etc. and then shop the destash items for new things to take home. Coffee, tea, and store-bought cookies will be on hand.

Do you have quilts and projects that you've finished during the pandemic and would like to show? Bring them and there will be a sew and tell of all sew and tells.

Plus, we have COMPRESSION PILLOWS to stuff and sew, and committees to sign up and participate on (check out the website for descriptions).

Bring your completed BLOCKS OF THE MONTH for February, March, April and May to the meeting. The captains will gladly take them off your hands.

And of course, there are quilting friends, new and existing, to get reacquainted with! We've reserved both rooms, so there will be lots of space to spread out!

For those who can't join us in person, a Zoom link can be provided. (Please be patient with us as we try to take these meetings to a hybrid format.) As always, guests are welcome to come to the in-person meeting or join via Zoom. Please send an email tacomamqg@gmail.com for the Zoom link so we know who to let into the meeting.

FROM I-5 NORTH OR SOUTH – ALLOW APPROXIMATELY 20 MIN TRAVEL TIME FROM THE 56TH STREET EXIT.
Take Exit 130 (South 56th Street) off of Interstate 5 and follow South 56th Street West to Orchard, where it becomes Cirque Drive. Follow Cirque Drive to Grandview and then go south (left) on Grandview to the Environmental Services Building located at 9850 64th Street West in University Place.
