Block of the Quarter and Community Quilts


Each quarter, our Guild makes a different quilt block — some are improv and some are a twist on more traditional blocks. It's always exciting to see all the different takes on a common theme. Each quarter, a member acts as captain and is responsible for sewing the member-donated blocks into a quilt top. These quilts, along with other quilts graciously donated by members, are given to local charities.

Twisted Ribbon - due April 2025

Use white for the background and two shades of same color (light and dark) for the ribbon. Chose any size block — 7-in, 10.5-in, 14-in are all fine!

Use white or low volume for the background in the flying geese and corners. Use scraps of any color for the geese and the sides.

Use white or low volume for the background and blue and purple for the lattice pieces.
